Almost uniformly, they understand where the killer is coming from. They don't condone it, but they totally get it. People identify with the shooter because they come from the same side of the issue. One woman said she fantasized daily about throwing a Molotov cocktail into the office of a supervisor who constantly berated her.

A bombing campaign began after watching the wilderness around his home being destroyed by development. From 1978 to 1995, 16 bombs were sent to targets including universities and airlines.
